Deep Energy Capital LLP (“Deep Energy”), an independent infrastructure investment firm specializing in geothermal energy, announced today the appointment of Jordan Kitson as COO/CFO. 

Dan Phillipson, Managing Partner at Deep Energy, said: “Jordan is a major addition to the Deep Energy leadership team and brings decades of financial market expertise to our investors. With extensive renewable energy infrastructure deal experience at Green Investment Group / Macquarie and leadership roles at BlueBay and Bury Street Capital, Jordan will be instrumental in our aim of catalysing investment to scale geothermal energy and bring to local communities and national grid clean, reliable heat and power that is secure and so urgently needed.” 

Jordan Kitson joins from Bury Street Capital, where he was director and CFO/COO. Between 2015 and 2020 he was a director at Macquarie in their Green Investment Group, working on renewable energy transactions and previously, Jordan was a partner at BlueBay Asset Management responsible for the build out and running of the Finance team. Jordan is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Director with the UK Institute of Directors.
